Jango is now one, birthday party

My youngest boy just turned one.  We celebrated yesterday by him having some Jello.  Well, I fed it to him.  Anyway, he had fun playing with his ball.  We will be celebrating his birthday on Saturday with family and some friends.  We will be having a BBQ and some cake.

Meanwhile, Cinco is forming lots of complete sentences.  He will soon be talking only in English soon.  I am trying to get his to use his potty, and he has sat on it twice, but it is still slow.  It will take time, and I don’t think he is quite interested in it yet.

So Happy Birthday Jango!  And Cinco will be three soon enough.  And I will have my birthday soon.  Oh yes, and my anniversary is coming up too.  Yay for summer months.

It’s been a while!

Sorry I haven’t been updating on a regualr basis, but handling two kids at home can be overwhelming at times.  Luckily they are both taking naps (at the same time!!!) so I have some time to type down what’s going on with the boys.

For those who care to know, the boys were involved in a CPS matter that involved me and Richard.  Both families got involved in the process, while Richard’s parents got custody of the kids from late March until Early June, when our case was finally thrown out by a judge.  It was for medical reasons, and it was based out of Sacramento County, where I used to live.  Needless to say, I was not myself the last three months without them, and felt a great deal better with them back at home!

Cinco now likes to say he loves something after we ask him if he likes it, ie me: do you like candy?  cinco: I love candy.  He does it almost every time you ask him.  He is really into dragons.  He’s got quite a few, not to mention that Richard added a new one to his collection.  He loves to play with Jango and make him laugh.  I enjoy watching the kids laugh together.  It’s the best sound in the world.

Jango is still trying to walk on his own, and it is only a matter of time before it happens.  It might be after his first birthday, but it should be soon after.  Maybe on my birthday!  He is also trying to say “duck” and we believe he said “up” the other day.  He likes to growl with his brother, even though he is not very loud when he does it, and cracks up when you say ball to him or imitate what he is doing.  It’s hard to believe that he’ll be one right around the corner.  This is why I have more than one kid!

Richard and I are getting our Private Patrol Operation number in the mail soon so we will be able to have mobile security.  It is a state required license we need to have to do patrol security.  Now we can write contracts for companies or people interested in having security on thier premises or patroling at certain intervals, and then we can start hiring people.  Richard has been working on the business whenever he can to make sure everything is the way he wants it.  I will be helping out and handling some of the paperwork we are sure to have.

Happy Father’s Day to the dads out there.  You are always appreciated.
