My kids are awesome!

Jango SO wants to walk!  He likes to stand on his feet and try to follow his brother.  Now if only he realizes that he needs to move his feet to do so…

Cinco is picking up words fairly quickly.  He also has very good manners, and says thank you to everything.

This was a short update, but my kids are going well and are growing up too fast!

Jango had MRI & shots, Cinco and “trucks”

To start off, Jango did well when he had his MRI for his head. He went out within ten seconds of receiving anesthesia, and then woke up about ten minutes after his exam was over. He was asleep when they (Richard, Richard, and Jango) picked me up from work. I was told that we should find out about the results in three business days. Haven’t heard anything yet…

Cinco is now fascinated in the world of automobiles. Particularly trucks. The grandparents found a book called Rescue Vehicles, and it has trucks, cars, and boats, which he can say very well, and a helicopter and a motorcycle, which he can say but not remember all the time. He even started to point to his toy trucks and play with them. He also played with them with Jango. He is learning to share, but it is a slow process. It seems to be working, though.

All and all, the kids are good. Jango is almost caught up on his shots, which is good news. He hopefully won’t have to get poked very much more. Cinco won’t need any more until he enters kindergarten. Thank goodness I don’t have a big fear of needles. Well, at least when someone is using them to help me or my kids, and I don’t have to do it myself!

Jango’s doctor visit

So I find out that Jango has both of his testicles.  But here’s the thing:  one of them wants to go back in.   Apparently it has a name, but I don’t remember it.  Anyway, I was told it would correct itself, so no surgery.  Huzzah!  I’m thrilled to death that my baby doesn’t need folks poking down there to fix his “giblets”, as I call it (It started with Cinco and a diaper change.  I said that he was smooshing his giblets, and Richard laughed at it, so I knew it was a saying to keep around for a little while.  I didn’t want to say testicles out loud at the time.).

So now we must wait until Thursday, the day of Jango’s MRI.  I am seriously hoping that nothing is wrong with my son’s head.  MY husband will be there; I’ll be at work.  He’ll also be put under because he can’t stay still, which scares me to death.  I don’t want anything to be wrong.  I don’t want my baby to go under any knives, let alone get sewn up.  I am terrified.  Please pray for my family that nothing absolutely major is going to be wrong with my son, or that anything is wrong with my son.  I will be praying too.

Jango has teeth!

My youngest little boy, Jango, has gotten two of his first set of teeth. One is an upper, and one is a lower. Since I know that he will get about twenty teeth thanks to Cinco, he has about eighteen more teeth to go. That’s really a lot of teeth for a baby that is drooling and trying to eat everything! He wants to eat what his brother is eating, but he can’t yet because he doesn’t have all his teeth yet. My baby wants to grow up too fast. He is already growing up too fast in my opinion.

Not to be left out, Cinco is doing great. He doesn’t talk on the phone as much as I want him to, but he will say mommy and i love you, so that’s really all I need to hear.

Tomorrow Jango goes to the doctor. I am hoping for some good news from the doctor. I don’t like to go to the doctor unless there is something really wrong, but I don’t think there is really anything wrong in this case. We shall see.
