Yesterday Richard and I learned that children when they reach a certain age, in this case two years and five months, that they tend to mimic what their parents say. Case in point: Richard was playing a game called Battlefield 2142. He got killed in battle, which happens quite a bit being a war game, and he said something to the extent of “Fuck that!”. Cinco, hearing what his dad just said, decided to copy his dad and said fuck. Richard tried to tell him no and not to say that, but later on the same day he said the same word about 15 times. Needless to say, I wasn’t too happy, and we seriously need to watch our language. Cinco is learning so many new words, but this was one I hoped he never have to learn. But it happened. So folks, watch your words. Could bite you in the butt if you are not careful.

Jango can scoot!
Jango is desperately trying to crawl. He uses his arms to push himself forward. His legs do not move behind him. He does move his legs to try and use them, but he doesn’t move forward. He looks like he is trying to do push ups. I’m sure he’ll get it, or if not, he’ll just scoot himself forward for a little while. I don’t remember Cinco doing this. So far Jango can scoot forward, move backward, and turn in a circle. He’ll be mobile real soon.
A couple pics of the kids
I took pictures of the two kiddos today and thought I should publish them on here for some folks to see. The first one is of my oldet son sleeping in a recliner. He was cranky today; we thought he was sick but he did not have a fever. His face is still red, but not nearly as bad as it was, and the flash makes it look worse than it is. The second one is of my youngest. He is getting so close to crawling. He gets up like he wants to do a pushup, and moves forward a little bit, but that’s all the forward progress he gets. Anyway, here they are.
Cinco says uncle and aunt but no names
Cinco has been learning a lot of vocabulary lately. Today I got him to say aunt and uncle, but when I said their name, I got nothing. Oh well. I’m going to keep trying. He knows bubbles, Jango(but said Janjo), McQueen (especially when I point to something that has Lightning McQueen on it), and a few other words that I can’t remember right now. I’m so proud of him. He tries to put on clothes and shoes, but still needs help. He is growing up quick, and so is his brother. I see why people have multiple kids!
